In JEZEBEL, Bette Davis offers up one of her best performances as a strong-willed Southern Belle about to marry Henry Fonda. Many said that this could have easily been called "Gone With the Jezebel" and in fact it earned Ms. Davis the Academy Award for Best Actress that year.
